FRIAS Conferences
FRIAS funds conference projects by academics in early stages of their careers at the University of Freiburg. The call for proposals is aimed at doctoral candidates and postdocs as well as members of the academic mid-level staff in temporary positions from all disciplines at the University of Freiburg.
Prizes will be awarded to the best and most innovative concepts for a scientific conference from a relevant area of the current humanities, social sciences, behavioral sciences, natural sciences and medicine. The successful groups will be invited to hold the conferences they have conceived within the framework of FRIAS. A budget of up to 14,000 euros is available for each conference.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Scientists in early career phases at the University of Freiburg (doctoral students; postdoctoral researchers; Juniorprofessors; mid-level faculty members on temporary positions from all disciplines).
FUNDING
The funding amounts to up to 14,000 euros. The Call for Applications for a FRIAS Conference in the period October 2024 to May 2025 runs until February 16, 2024, 1 p.m.
