APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 16, 2024, 13.00 H CET

You are an Early Career Researcher at the University of Freiburg and would like to conduct a conference together with other researchers on an academically relevant topic? You have innovative and original ideas for the concept and the realization of an event? The Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) is calling for conference proposals from any academic/scientific field which is of relevance to the research activities at the University of Freiburg. Up to two conferences with up to 35 participants will be funded and will take place at FRIAS between October 2024 and May 2025.

The call is addressed to early career researchers of all disciplines at the University of Freiburg (PhD candidates, PostDocs, non-tenured researchers, junior professors).

The applicants have to be identical to the conference organizers and must include at least two early career researchers holding a position at the University of Freiburg both at the time of application and the time of the conference. National or international early career researchers from other universities are welcome to apply as co-applicants; responsibility as principal applicant lies, however, with the Freiburg researchers. Groups of two to five early career researchers can apply.
