We kindly invite you to explore the work of the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). On June 27th between 5 pm and 7 pm we open our doors to inform you about the various funding formats FRIAS offers.
If you are interest in an individual fellowship to pursue your research interest or if you would like to invite an interesting guest researcher from abroad, the different funding programmes of our institute may offer you a possibility to do so.
FRIAS allows its fellows to solely focus on their research, away from their usual obligations, and to communicate with international colleagues from many disciplines. We offer a space where ideas can come up that might be a bit beside the academic mainstream.
On our open day our current fellows and the institute’s leadership will be available to answer all your questions. Under the theme of “FRIAS funding programmes compact” you can explore how a FRIAS fellowship or project support can become part of your research and career planning.
