SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION

The key research area "Pathways to Sustainability" addresses the fundamental issues that drive a transformation towards a more sustainable and future-oriented society. The focus is on both technical and social issues as well as on complex human-environment systems. The contextual conditions are scientifically investigated and social transformation processes are critically and constructively accompanied. The key research area "Pathways to Sustainability" encompasses all faculties and places a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary cooperation.
