In his successful YouTube channel, Cedric Engels alias "Doktor Whatson" regularly tackles current topics of science, technology and philosophy. In July, he started a new series dedicated to comparing dystopian visions of the future with the actual state of the art in science and engineering.
For the first episode in this series, "Doktor Whatson" asked for the expertise of FRIAS Saltus! group member Prof. Dr. Silja Vöneky. Based on the 1997 movie "Gattaca", they discussed moral and ethical questions and implications of genetic enigeering and designer babies.
