FRIAS mourns the loss of Nigel F. Palmer
On May 8, 2022, our former Senior Fellow passed away at the age of 75
It was with great sadness that FRIAS received the news of the death of Prof. Dr. Nigel F. Palmer (Senior Fellow 2010 and 2013/14).
Nigel Palmer was considered an outstanding and particularly committed researcher in German medieval studies and linguistics and was closely associated with FRIAS and the University of Freiburg for many years.
We express our sincere condolences to Nigel Palmer's family and colleagues.
