Distinguished Fellow Hans Joas receives award for his scientific lifetime achievement
At the 41st Congress of the German Society for Sociology (DGS) in September 2022, FRIAS Distinguished Fellow Prof. Dr. Dr. Hans Joas will be awarded for his scientific lifetime achievement.
DGS Chair Professor Dr. Paula-Irene Villa Braslavsky (Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich) honours Prof. Joas' work, which "decisively shaped the exchange between German and North American sociology and significantly influenced the development of sociology".
