The complexity of the cross‐sectoral sociotechnological transformation around the innovation dynamics of artificial intelligence (AI) requires an inter‐ and transdisciplinary methodological toolbox for assessing the ethical, legal and social impact of this emerging technology. The talk will present some ideas about the required content of this toolbox.
