YAS II (2024-2027)
The Young Academy for Sustainability Research (YAS) was established in 2021 at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) as an international and interdisciplinary academy for post-doctoral researchers in the field of sustainability.
SECOND FUNDING PHASE (2024-2027)
The Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation has extended the funding of this unique Young Academy until 2027 with 1.26 million euros. The focus of the second funding phase, which starts in October 2024, will be on the following topics:
- Transformative city-regions
- Human-technology-environment relations
