FRIAS Director Prof. Hermann Grabert, together with FRIAS Alumnus Prof. Michael Thorwart, is organizing a conference on “´Quantum Dissipation: Progress and Perspectives” from July 22-24, 2015. The conference intends to reflect the state-of-the-art of the theory of quantum dissipative systems and discuss challenges in view of new experimental techniques.
