Joint Fellowship Programme Strasbourg / Freiburg
The programme is a joint initiative between FRIAS and the University of Strasbourg Institute for Advanced Study (USIAS). Funding is granted to research groups comprising of academics from the universities of Freiburg and Strasbourg and, on some occasions, scholars from other universities. Successful projects are funded for two years.
- Who: Researchers from Freiburg and Strasbourg apply for a joint project. The research groups may also include academics from other universities or research institutes.
- Disciplines: Open to all disciplines
- When to apply: Call for applications issued every two years. The current call for applications closed on January 31, 2017.An announcement of the final decision made on the applications is expected by the end of April 2017.
- Scope of funding: Successful applicants become fellows of both institutes. The groups are entitled to employ a postdoc to support them in their collaborative work.
- Period of funding: Two years
