The recent progress at the interface of partial differential equations, global analysis and Lorentzian geometry has permitted new insights on how quantum effects can be induced by classical dynamics of the geometric background. The workshop will serve as a special opportunity to bring together expert mathematicians and theoretical physicists and enable an exchange on methods rooted in different subdomains of analysis, with the overall goal of bringing new perspectives on the interaction of quantum degrees of freedom with spacetime geometry.
Program:
Thursday, July 7
- 14:00-14:50 Nadine Grosse (Freiburg) - „Boundary value problems on domains with cusps”
- 15:00-15:50 Lennart Ronge (Bonn) - „Hadamard coefficients from Green's operators”
- 16:40-17:30 Christiane Klein (Leipzig) - „Construction of the Unruh state on Kerr-de Sitter”
Friday, July 8
- 9:30-10:20 Bernd Ammann (Regensburg) - „Parallel spinors on Lorentzian manifolds”
- 11:00-11:50 Jérémy Mougel (Göttingen) - „Desingularizing Schrödinger operators with singular potential with singularities of type 1/r or 1/r^2”
