A detailed view on the modelling of risks and trust
In this presentation we review two key concepts of ecnomic modelling: expected utility maximization and Bayesian updating leading to a coherent concept of an agent-based model. Embedded in this framework we explain how trust plays an important role for a rational person and discuss some consequences. Also behavioural phenomena can be embedded in this context.
