This workshop is part of a series of four cross-disciplinary and multi-lingual events with the aim to explore the construction and circulation of knowledge on nature and the environment in France and Germany, in order to reflect on the emergence and success of the field of Environmental Humanities. On the basis of four presented papers from French and German colleagues we will focus in our discussions on different types and examples of ‘sustainability’ knowledge.
