Workshop Announcement
The workshop will offer a forum to discuss the newest developments in research on the classical-to-quantum frontier in dynamics, in particular the cross-over from random to quantum walks. The talks will be given by internationally recognised experts. The presentations will focus on:
(i) classical dynamics (such as anomalous diffusion, transport in networks, Levy-walks in optical lattices, strong system-environment couplings, chaotic transport, coherent aspects in incoherent modeling)
(ii) quantum-mechanical transport processes (such as excitons in Rydberg gases, quantum cellular automata, dynamics in Bose-Einstein condensates, environment assisted transport, coherent dynamics in molecules and wave guide arrays)
The workshop will also feature an evening poster session where workshop attendees will present and informally discuss their research results.
