Multicomponent strategies to the tuning of interfaces and electroactive supramolecular nanostructured materials: fabrication of functional devices
In this presentation we will discuss the generation of supramolecularly engineered (nano)structures (film, single nano/microfibers, multi-fibers) and their exploitation for the fabrication of Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs), with a particular focus on:
- the use of electroactive architectures based on multicomponents, each conferring a well distinct functionality to the device
- the tuning of the energetics and the surface properties of metal/organic interfaces by functionalization of the metal with different self-assembled monolayers
