The School of Soft Matter Research of the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) and the Freiburg Research Focus "Quantum Efficiency" will organize a fall school for PhD students and Postdocs on the topic Photosensitive Processes in Nature and Technology. The school will have 5 working days, from Monday, September 19 till Friday, September 23, 2011. Saturday will be reserved for an excursion. The idea is to bring together scientists studying the primary steps of photosynthesis in biological systems with researchers from the field of dye and organic solar cells.
