Multipeptide vaccination for immunotherapy of cancer
Immunotherapy constitutes an interesting alternative to classical forms of cancer treatment like radiotherapy or chemotherapy. During the past decade, immunotherapeutical trials targeting tumor-associated antigens have been reported, with diverse passive or active approaches using antibodies or aimed at activating tumor-directed T lymphocytes. Our group focuses on the use of multipeptide vaccinations for immunotherapy of cancer. The results to date look promising.
