Closing the Cycle: From Experiment Design to Data and Model Analysis to Experiment Design
Given biological data different mathematical models might explain equally well the observations made. Thus, an important task is to develop a methodology to design a new experiment that will allow distinguishing best between the rivaling models. The first part of my talk will focus on such a procedure. The second part will present a method to test a priori whether an experiment will provide the information (the model parameter values or reaction rates) sought after. Finally, in the last part, I will elabo-rate on a computational approach to elucidate the biochemical network structure from experimental data.
