Recent developments in the precise generation and control of ultrashort laser pulses of attosecond duration open a new era in attosecond science: probing and harnessing aspects of quantum information in ultrafast light-matter interaction. This workshop is intended to bring together specialists from both fields – attosecond physics and quantum information theory – to discuss the latest developments as well as upcoming opportunities and challenges in a small and stimulating round.
