Tagung - A Green City Mandate? Promises and Pitfalls of Urban Environmental Governance since the 1970s

Graduate Student Seminar and International Workshop on the topic of "Green Cities" and "Urban Cultures of Sustainability", organised by the FRIAS project group "A Green City Mandate".

The project group invited an excellent group of young scholars and students from various different countries as well as many distinguished scholars from the field of sustainable urban development, urban geography, environmental history, and ecocriticism to work with the graduate students during their week in Freiburg.

The programme involves input as well as output sessions in addition to a field trip to Freiburg’s ‘green city’ neighborhoods.
