In this kick-off meeting, the FRIAS directorate would like to address all FRIAS fellows, alumni and alumnae, and guest researchers of the academic year 2019/20 to
- inform about the state of things at FRIAS and the plans for the remainder of this academic year,
- learn more about our fellows' current situation in theirhome countries and institutions and, in particular, their most pressing questions and concerns,
- sound our fellows out about our ideas for various online formats from May onwards (e.g. virtual After Hours Conversations, beginning May 6), and for those of working in the humanities and social sciences
- plan the programme of HUMSS Virtual, which we'd like to start on May 4, 2020
An invitation mail was sent to all FRIAS members via mail, including the log-in data to enter the Zoom Meeting room and a detailed instruction on how to use Zoom.
