Novel Language from Joyce to Coetzee: Form, Innovation, and the Experience of Fiction
In this talk, I will summarise my current book project, which examines some examples of twentieth- and twenty-first century fiction that follows in the footsteps of James Joyce’s revolution in the art of the novel, paying particular attention to the question of the reader’s experience to innovative uses of form and language.
