FRIAS-Alumna Johnson receives Heldt Prize

The Heldt Prize 2022 goes to former FRIAS Marie S. Curie FCFP Fellow Janet E. Johnson and her colleagues.

Political Scientist Janet E. Johnson has been arwarded with the Heldt Prize 2022 for best book in Slavic, East European, and Eurasian women’s and gender studies. Johnson was part of the Marie S. Curie FRIAS Cofund Fellowships (FCFP) from January until Mai 2020 and finished the book during her stay.

Johnson edited the "Routledge Handbook of Gender in Central-Eastern Europe and Eurasia" together with her colleagues Katalin Fábián and Mara Lazda. The handbook is the key reference for contemporary historical and political approaches to gender in Central-Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
