Mario Wilde began studying physics at the Albert Ludwigs-University of Freiburg in 2006. From 2010 to 2011 he was an exchange student at the University of Lund in southern Sweden. At the end of 2012 he joined Florian Mintert's group at FRIAS in order to write his diploma thesis.
