The Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies has just published the 8th issue of FRIAS NEWS, entitled “FRIAS – THE FIRST FIVE YEARS”. Members of the FRIAS directorate look back on five years of academic and scientific research in the four FRIAS schools. This issue also presents articles on cross-cutting topics such as interdisciplinarity, internationalisation and promotion of young researchers, as well as conference reports and announcements.
